Usage Guide
This DC/DC Measured Electrical Characteristics Comparison Tool can compares the actual data of DC/DC converter efficiency, ripple voltage, output voltage (load regulation) and mounting area including peripheral components.
It can be used to select peripheral components of power supply ICs and and to judge circuit feasibility.
You can display up to 6 comparisons at the same time.
Features
- Intuitive operability
- Measurement data such as “efficiency”, “ripple voltage”, “output voltage (load regulation)” that are difficult to grasp in simulation can be obtained.
- It is possible to grasp the "mounting area including peripheral parts" that is difficult to read from the data sheet.
- Graphical display of differences in characteristics and mounting area
- Help for understand differences in oscillation frequency of the same series and differences in characteristics due to differences in inductors.
How to use
- Initial condition setting
Select Topology, Operation Mode, input voltage (Vin), output voltage (Vout), output current (Iout) as initial conditions. The candidates for comparison are displayed. - Narrow down and sort comparison targets
If there are too many candidates, narrow down the candidates by conditions such as product name, coil type, efficiency and mounting size, and whether or not HiSAT-COT control is used. It can also rearrange the order of efficiency and mounting size. - Select comparison target
By checking the candidates for comparison, the comparison data will be displayed as graphs and tables at the bottom. You can select up to 6 items for comparison at the same time.
Supplement
- If you enter a condition outside the power supply specifications, it may not operate properly.
- Please enter half-width alphanumeric characters when narrowing down the product name.
- If you have any missing actual measurement data, please contact us from "Contact Us". The data will be added after measurement.
