Power Semiconductor SiC Schottky barrier diode 850V/10A Started Providing Samples

Torex Semiconductor Ltd. (Tokyo Japan: President, Koji Shibamiya, 6616: 1st section at Tokyo Stock Exchange) has started providing samples of the 850V/10A Schottky barrier diode XBSC11A108CS using SiC as a new power semiconductor product that contributes to the reduction in power consumption and size of power supply systems such as air conditioners and EV chargers.

Torex is a group of analog CMOS professionals specializing in power supply ICs, and we will introduce the SiC SBD chip developed by our subsidiary Phenitec Semiconductor to the versatile TO-220AC and put it on the market.

This product is aimed at mass production in 2023. In addition, we plan to develop products with 650V~1200V that will be introduced to the market in turn.
